Small restaurants get reprieve under GST, govt assures no harassment

Restaurants with an annual turnover of less than Rs50 lakh will be able to avail the so-called composition scheme under the goods and services tax (GST) regime and pay a flat tax of 5% after the GST council decided to widen the ambit of this scheme to include services.

The composition scheme enables taxpayers with a revenue threshold of up to Rs50 lakh to pay a fixed tax rate and reduce the procedural requirements that have to be followed by businesses in GST.

It has been decided that restaurants with an annual turnover of less than Rs50 lakh can pay a tax at the rate of 5% (2.5% central GST and 2.5% state GST), said revenue secretary Hasmukh Adhia at a press conference after the GST council meeting in New Delhi.Bulk Sms Service provider

Delhi University students cheer win for ‘humble’ shop

सोशल मीडिया पर ये वीडियो देखकर आपस में चर्चा हो रही है कि अब यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ हैं इसलिए गुंडाराज नहीं चलेगा. ये वीडियो शेयर करते हुए लोग लिख रहे हैं, ”हम अपने सीएम को प्यार करते हैं. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने ली पुलिस वाले की जोरदार क्लास. अब नहीं चलेगा यूपी में गुंडाराज.” वायरल वीडियो ये बताने की कोशिश की गई है कि योगी आदित्यनाथ ने सीएम बनते ही बीच सड़क पर पुलिस वालों की क्लास लगाई.

वायरल वीडियो में दो हिस्से दिख रहे हैं. पहले हिस्से में योगी आदित्यनाथ अपने चिर परिचित अंदाज में भीड़ के बीच में खड़े होकर पुलिस वाले को डांट रहे हैं. जबकि वीडियो के दूसरे हिस्से में योगी आदित्यनाथ एक बच्चे के साथ खड़े दिखाई दे रहे हैं.

वीडियो को देखकर लोग सोच रहे हैं कि ये सीएम बनने के बाद ये योगी का कमाल है. वीडियो को हवा मिल रही है क्योंकि सीएम बनने के बाद योगी आदित्यनाथ लगातार कभी थानों का तो कभी अस्पतालों का औचक दौरा कर रहे हैं.
