Guwahati: Bhutan is quick to set up a department in Guwahati, its Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay said on Friday.
"I have solicited the Government from India to permit us to set up a department in Guwahati", Tobgay said while talking as visitor of respect at the Inauguration function of the five-day waterway celebration 'Namami Brahmaputra'(Obesiance to Brahmaputra) here.
"We share a considerable measure. We have a ton of chronicled ties of participation and fellowship. There is a 255 km outskirt amongst Bhutan and Assam where individuals of the two nations collaborate neighborly, he called attention to.
