BJP comes to control in Pune enterprise for first time, removes NCP

Pune: BJP on Thursday caught NCP's Pune bastion, winning an agreeable greater part and coming to control in the city interestingly.

The Sharad Pawar-drove gathering could win just 38 seats this time.

Seats won by different gatherings were as per the following - Shiv Sena - 10, Congress - 9, MNS - 2, MIM - 1 and independents - 4.

In the 2012 city decisions, BJP had won just 26 situates in Pune and was at number four.

Before races, a few sitting corporators from different gatherings, for the most part from Congress and NCP, had changed their steadfastness to BJP.

BJP: Kiran Jathar, Rahul Bhandari, Mukta Jagtap, Bapurao Karne, Sonali Langde, Alpana Varpe, Deepak Pote, Madhuri Sahasrabuddhe, Manjushree Khardekar, Hemant Rasne, Navnath Kamble, Lata Dhayarkar, Umesh Gaikwad, Kavita Vairage, Anand Rathe, Anita Kadam and Shankar Pawar.

NCP: Prashant Jagtap, Usha Jagtap, Haji Gafoor Pathan, Prakash Kadam, Deepak Mankar, Rekha Tingre.
